Sally Ward is the President of Ward Leadership, a Rochester, NY area firm providing leadership coaching, professional development and assessment services to leaders, managers, emerging leaders, and teams in the private and nonprofit sectors. From her first position in an inner city youth agency to subsequent roles in management and business ownership, Sally has been committed to recognizing potential and empowering those she serves. She is passionate about helping her clients strengthen leadership, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills so they can show up as their Best
Selves.
Prior to establishing Ward Leadership, Sally worked as a corporate sales manager and trainer. She concurrently owned a successful small business representing the company’s product in Rochester, NY where she honed strong skills in planning, motivating, customer service, and relationship management.
Her rich nonprofit experience includes roles in senior management (Executive Director, project director), governance, and strategic planning. Known for her open, inclusive style, she was tapped to serve on a facilitator team for a three-year program (Person2Person) to strengthen relationships between community leaders of different races and ethnicities. She has chaired and worked extensively with Boards of Directors and currently serves on several. Sally holds a Certificate in Coaching Nonprofits from the University of Texas at Dallas.
When she’s relaxing, you’ll find Sally out in nature, hiking with her dog, reading voraciously, or planning cultural events for a membership association.

The Co-active Training Institute (CTI), The International Coach Federation (ICF), and the Institute for Social + Emotional Intelligence (ISEI)™.
